Social Justice Class Begins Lenten Study, “Cries of Anguish, Stories of Hope”

Come join the Social Justice class for our Lenten Study “Cries of Anguish, Stories of Hope: A Global Struggle to end Violence against Women.”  The World Council of  Churches, the World Student Christian Federation and the World Alliance of YWCAs have joined together to create a Lenten Study that empowers people through sharing videos about women around the world who are working to overcome violence.  We will begin this Sunday, February 28th after the 9:15 celebration (10:15) in the Youth Room.  Our first video will focus on India and how women there are rising above oppression amidst their poverty.   You can learn more at
