Witness in Art Guest Artist This Sunday, Feb. 28th – Katie Gray

Singer/songwriter Katie Gray will be joining us this Sunday at the 9:15 imprints celebration, and you don’t want to miss her!  Katie is a newcomer to Austin. She is originally from Washington DC, grew up in Michigan and has lived in the San Juan Islands, California, England and now Texas. Her musical career truly began when she left her career of acting in Los Angeles about 5 years ago.  After an early divorce of her parents, surviving abuse and a low self-esteem, Katie has persevered the not-so-simple journey of being human and put her pain, love and inspiration into the creating and performance of her songs.

“Music is what brings healing into my life and through sharing it, I hope it can somehow help heal others as well”.

She is currently working on the recording of her new album (to be released this fall) and is filled with gratitude to be here in Austin with such a lovely community and circle of new friends.
