The Griffin School, which will be taking up residence in our current building, is holding an open house this evening at 6:30pm. You may know of the Griffin School as a college preparatory high school which empowers a community of learners through a focus on the arts. The readers of the Austin Chronicle awarded it with title of the “Best Place to Be Yourself in School.” You can find more information about them through their website, griffinschool.org or click below to read the full flier about tonight’s event.
Meet Your New Neighborhood School!Open House in our New Home June 15, 6:30pm, Trinity United Methodist Church 600 E. 50th Street, North Hyde Park
After 12 years on the grounds of the Perry Mansion, the Griffin School will be moving to a new home in North Hyde Park this fall! We are very excited and humbled to have the chance to take up residence in the Trinity United Methodist Church building on Evans Ave and East 50th Streets. We are eager to continue Trinity’s legacy of inclusiveness, authenticity, and empowerment in North Hyde Park, and we look forward to being a community center for education and the arts for this wonderful neighborhood.
In preparation for this move, we’re eager to introduce ourselves and meet our new neighbors! On Tuesday, June 15th at 6:30pm, we’re hosting an open house at the Trinity Methodist Church. This is our chance to talk about what the Griffin School is all about and to share our designs and plans for our new home. Hope to see you there!Adam Wilson, Co-Founder and School Director email@example.com, 512-454-5797
