Bible & Homosexuality Talk – 12/2, University UMC

Professor L. Michael White will speak in the Fellowship Hall at University UMC’s (2409 Guadalupe Street) reconciling event on the subject of the bible and homosexuality. He is a professor of Classics and Religious Studies at UT and also director of the Institute for the Study of Antiquity and Christian Origins at UT. His research specialty is the religions of the Roman Empire. He blends historical, literary and sociological research with traditional Biblical studies and archeological field work. The event will take place 6:30 p.m-8:30 p.m and parking should be available nearby.
