Youth News

Last Sunday we had a great day with lots of activities. We raised over $100 for the Heifer Project through our annual bake sale and covered at least 20 blocks, distributing flyers in the neighborhood for the Nobelity Project’s book drive. We also had fun celebrating an early Christmas with a youth group lunch at Julio’s.  I think everyone was ready for a nap by the end of all our walking!

This week we are beginning our new unit on Respect, as well as planning one more of our Christmas rituals- a white elephant gift exchange. We do this after Christmas, and usually re-gift funny or unusual gifts we have received, or just anything we can find that would be fun to exchange.
