Youth News

Last Sunday we began our new unit on Respect. We created some mind maps about respect and disrespect and discussed both ideal and realistic perspectives on respectful community. We also looked over the Heifer gift catalog, and are leaning towards purchasing a goat with our bake sale money.

This Sunday, the 19th, we will hold our annual White Elephant gift exchange. Everyone should bring in a wrapped, used (re-gift, or find something in your house) gift to contribute to the game. We’re hoping some of our youth will also bring in their instruments, to add a little music to the party!
