Believe Out Loud Workshop

Come learn how bring Trinity’s message of inclusiveness to the rest of the Methodist community! On February 12, the Southwest Texas Annual Conference Reconciling Ministry Team invites you to join other like-minded people from 8:30am-1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center, 1300 Lavaca. Lunch will be provided.  Parking available on the street or in the Texas Trial Lawyers Garage (corner of 13th and Lavaca.) Please RSVP by February 1 to Stephanie Gray Greiner, sggreiner@gmail.com; 210-566-7230.

Topics to be covered:

  • “Believe Out Loud Together” to help the United Methodist “Open Minds, Open Hearts, Open Doors” theme have true meaning
  • Meet and network with other United Methodists who believe that true inclusiveness is God’s desire for our church
  • Share ideas about making our voices heard at the 2011 Annual Conference
  • Brainstorm ways to elect General Conference delegates who desire true inclusiveness in the Church so that we can play a role in UM policy changes.
