Children’s Corner

Last week at 9:15 the children were playing cooperative games. They experienced what it was like to be in another person’s shoes. This week we will play games for following directions. Next week we will practice teamwork.

Last week the 10:30 Sunday school class had a chance to discover divine energy in nature. We were blessed to have beautiful weather for our outside play. This week we will start a unit on parables with the Mustard Seed. Next week, we will do a gardening activity with the Parable of the Sower.

Last week at 11:15, the children’s choir reviewed “Do Re Mi” and “O Sifuni Mungu” They listened to 2 new songs by Wayne Brady, “Good Morning All Over the World” and “You are What You Eat.” This week we will review those songs and add some Veggie Tales favorites. Next week will review and play music games.
