Sunday October 9, 2011 is National Clergy Appreciation Day

Well, we appreciate Sid so much we let him take some well-deserved time away.  Since our beloved clergy won’t be here on October 9, we’re going to show him our gratitude the following Sunday October 16, 2011.  We’ll have a little box for notes of appreciation and a cake reception between the services.  Please take a few minutes to express your kind words for Sid.  Email him, send a card to the church, or bring a card on 10/16/11.  There will also be note cards for people to write on in (available in the Community Hall that Sunday.)  Thank you!

  1. Hi! Barb Lightheart here.
I’m very much interested in the poetry class with Mark Lett. Please let me know what time and for how long the class takes place: two hours for three weeks, etc — I couldn’t find the info on the page. If I can possibly work it while still attending choir practice, I would love to do so.
    Thanks,
    Barbara

    • Sorry for the confusion, Barb! I’ve updated the post, but to answer here: This session is 5 weeks long (October 19 – November 23.) Dinner is at 6:00 pm; Classes are from 7 – 8:30 pm. I don’t think it works with choir practice – having another evening of classes so that choir folks can attend is on our agenda for the future.
